Danny McBride does the role of Prince Thadeous in the movie Your Highness. He has always been sheltered by his brother Prince Fabious, played by James Franco. Apparently, Prince Fabious is the heir to the throne. Thadeous runs low on his morale as his brother is to take over the throne. He turns a hedonist while Fabious is an adventurist. There is a twist in the movie when Thadeous turns a hero. The inspiration comes when Fabious loses his fiancé to an evil wizard. Isabel, an unbeatable warrior, who has her own risky plans, joins the brothers on the quest. The three have to reach Belladona, and they kill many dangerous monsters and treacherous knights on the way. Thadeous has to choose between turning a hero, or lose his life, which is, of course, dastardly. Explicit lewdness, offensive language, exposure by women, gory scenes, and narcotics abuse are but a drawback in the movie. Such scenes make this movie appear loathsome.
Verdict: The movie comes under the juvenile category, but the flick ‘South Park’ is far better than the movie ‘Your Highness’. The British accent by Franco seems to have been distorted wantonly, and he speaks guttural English in an attempt to draw audiences to the theaters. But, that is definitely not a feature commended by audiences.
