. The movie happens to be one among two movies of 2013 which deals with the militant attack on the White House.
Plot: Channing Tatum has done the role of Capitol cop. Jamie Foxx has done the role of American President. In spite of all his capabilities as a police officer, John Cale is denied a position to be by The President’s side. John Cale does not want to distress his daughter with the news and takes her to the White House on a jolly trip. There is a twist in the movie as militants suddenly land in the White House. Now, Cale is vested with the responsibility of saving everybody including the American citizens from peril.
Throughout the movie, The President and the Police Officer are seen planning a way out of the maze. There are shootouts that are pervasive in the movie. The chemistry between the two actors has worked out well. There is that President’s grace very obviously seen in Foxx. Actor Tatum holds a very high appeal and is charismatic. There are drawbacks in the movie. The movie drags all along with many action scenes and at times gets depressing to watch. It looks like they have prepared a stereotyped action hit to play with animal instincts of the audiences. The movie boosts the spirits as there has not been any good action movie in the recent times.
Verdict:Â The Channing Tatum-Jamie Foxx pair has made the movie a moderate treat for fans.
