Plot
Tori and Kyle Breyer are a married couple who cannot have children. One day, in their home they see something crashing in the nearby forest. They went to the nearby forest to check where they found a baby. They decided to adopt the baby in the spaceship. They named the baby Brandon. Brandon did not know about it, and he was kept away from the spacecraft. Brandon is now 12-year-old boy. He found that he is like a superhero with the power of exceptional strength and flying ability. It is a strange fact that he never got an injury during his childhood period. He had a significant mood swings, which can lead him from a sweet boy to an arrogant boy. Brandon is bullied in his school for being socially awkward. Her classmate Caitlyn Connor tries to help him during bullying. As a result, he develops feeling for her. But she doesn’t have the same feelings. Brandon does strange things in school. Why is Brandon behaving like that? What is the secret behind his superpowers? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Jackson A. Dunn, as Brandon Breyer, did an incredible performance in the film. Her journey from an average child to a child with superpowers was impressive. His acting was perfect in the movie. As a child artist, he leads the movie pretty well. Elizabeth Banks, as Tori Breyer, was brilliant. Her detailing of the character given was perfect. She portrayed how a real mother would have reacted to the situation. David Denman, as Kyle Breyer, did a fantastic performance in the movie. He shows the nature of a good father and husband. He tries his best to do what should be good. He was perfect in dialogue delivery and acting. He did a remarkable performance in the film. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.
Analysis
The storyline of the film was great, creepy, horrifying, and scary. The film focus on how aliens sent a human-form child to Earth for their dark intentions. The film has an interesting storyline. The direction in the movie were perfect in every sense. The cinetomagraphy and editing was excellently done. The horror nature of the film is maintained from the start till the end. Supernatural elements like the aliens are shown in the movie. The scripting was interesting, which makes it difficult to leave the film halfway. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent.
