PLOT:
When ‘wanderer’ infuses herself into Saoirse Ronan's body, she was not able to gain control over Ronan. They have a debate and become close. Wanderer informs Seeker that Ronan is in search for her kin, and leaves her body. Wanderer does not confess about the real location. She gets close to the people inside the cave. But the seeker goes in search for humans and the wanderer. Wanderer gets impressed by humans and help the people from not getting caught by Seeker.
ANALYSIS:
The core idea of the story sounds amazing. But unfortunately, it is let down by a poor screenplay, trashy plotting, and bland characters. This movie looks more like a scribbled work. Andrew Niccol is a man with a potential to do wonders with the script by infusing the genre of science fiction. Through this movie, he could have explained about the effects of the 'souls,' alien versus humans, the invasion of aliens, the human crisis, their reactions, and many other topics.. But the story in the novel was concentrating more on the inner duel happening in the protagonist. The characters are also not developing as the story moves on.
STAR PERFORMANCES:

This movie is similar to Twilight. So Twilight fans can have the same experience with this movie as well.
WHAT'S NOT THERE?
The logic is completely lacking in the movie. It is a big question on how people without any financial support developed a mirror structure inside the cave, and how they got the support items.
VERDICT:
A story that doesn’t have any life.
