ANALYSIS:Â
The movie starts and ends with a poetic touch. It is is too mesmerizing. The voice over helps in explaining all the emotions running through the script. The cinematography is at its best. Wide shots are captured in beautiful landscapes. The beauty of the cottages acts as some deadly trap as well. The music is loud at times. But it gives a fanciful touch to the film. This movie is a well-crafted art type of movie with utmost beauty. The power of love is expressed in an affecting way.Â
STAR PERFORMANCES:Â
Carey guides the audience as she unravels the love present in her world. She is very sincere towards her role. Her despair is visible beyond her tears. Garfield's presence may look like a nonentity. But this fact gains the audience's attention. His role is fragile. Keira steals the show with her dominant performance.Â
WHAT'S THERE?
This movie opens up more about the cloning in an emotional path, rather than the scientific path. All the characters are zoomed in depth. Though this is fiction, it gives the audience a heart-wrenching feel.Â
WHAT'S NOT THERE?
Though the director's ideas were not about the cloning issue, the topic was missed to be covered. All the human rights issues are not explained much. Since this movie is a worthy one, the director misses a good opportunity to put forward the strongest issue of the cloning.
VERDICT:
As we near our end, the love gets more beautiful. Never let me go from this memorable film.
