does Ronan’s father in the movie. Both father and daughter get along well in the remoteness of Finland. Her father had long been training her on assassinations. All that he had for his reference were an encyclopedia and few fairy tales. He had trained her on archery, rifle-shooting, and also on how to break a man’s neck with just her hands. Hanna had been taught to speak in German, Italian, Spanish and later in Arabic language also. With those bluish eyes and her pale white complexion, she gives the feel of a resident of the Arctic.
The movie unfolds with a mission on which her father sends her. Without revealing her identity, Hanna takes on a journey via Europe. To add up to the difficulty, Hanna needs to face challenges from Marissa who tries to track down Hanna. Actress Cate Blanchett has done the role of Marissa in the movie.
While hitting upon the target, Hanna is confronted with requirements to know about why she is there. Also, there is need for her to come to terms with facts about her as human. Hanna might have known a lot from her father, but she is lacking in one aspect. She lacks interaction with humans. All her life, she had been with her father in the wilderness and found that existence comfortable. In a scene in the movie, Hanna is held captive in Finland, and she pops out through a tunnel… and to her surprise finds herself in Morocco. She is disoriented, and has an uncomfortable stay in a hotel where she is unable to interact with humans.
Verdict:There is but one question which remains unanswered. Why did a talented director as Joe Wright take up such a theme which tires him rather than prove his skill?
