Star Performance
Archie's character is not well-written and compelling as a whole. Richard and Jacqueline's characters should have been delivered in a better way to have known about the depth of the characters. Robin McLeavy's character is also not clearly expressed, but the overall casting is excellent.
Analysis
The narrator's writing flow makes the movie move at a slower pace than a normal one. But as time passes, the story shows a sudden flashback of Aaron's past. The shooting for this film takes place in many places around the Victorian rainforests filled with gum trees and fern trees showcasing the exquisiteness to the viewers. The shooting places are beautiful and dangerous at the same time, so maybe that's the reason why the director Robert Connolly chose these locations for shooting. The visual theme is so intriguing to view, and the characters played by various talented actors keep you anticipating throughout the end. The story is engaging from time to time, but most of the parts are clumsy to watch. The movie overall should have been made in a better way to get the spotlight it deserved.
