Plot
A street cat named Bob is a drama directed by Roger Spottiswoode. The story focuses on the life story of James Busker, a drug addict whose life changes when he meets a cat. James Bowen is a homeless man who lives on the streets of London. Once a dangerous, drug-related incident occurred which is a nightmare for James and his support worker, Val, gets him into a council flat to fortify him. In his flat, James discovers a cat formation through his food. He assumes the cat to be lost and tries to get back the cat to his real householders. On an analogous evening, the cat returns to James's flat, this time, with a putrid wound on his leg.
James gets worried to see this and consults his neighborhood doctor, Betty. She informs James of a part charity vet that she volunteers at and names the cat Bob. James later gets Bob emasculated and set him free. However, Bob continues to follow James into the town which makes a mob of people gathers and making James a star and opulent. He eventually decides to keep Bob with himself. One night, on the way to home, James finds his ex, Baz, unconscious, overdosed on the narcotic. Baz dies in hospital. On new year Eve, James visits his father. One day, while busking, James gets in an exceedingly Nursing argument with employment, and James getting arrested for it. Once being found innocent, he gets forbid from busking for six months.
Once Betty founds him collecting drugs which lead to a fight between them and they decide to separate. After few days, James visits the Big Issue Office to form some extra cash for him and Bob. He regains his demands within tourists by promoting the Big Issue. Once being litigant of illicitly promoting magazines on another vendor's patch, James and Bob's unit prohibit them for a whole month. A lady tries to buy Bob on which James disagrees and decides to get over the drug addiction. A journalist, Mary, requests to put in writing down a book relating to James and Bob relationship, and James agrees. James also tries to work out his relationship with his father.

Luke Treadaway has given a remarkable performance in the movie portraying the role of a drug addict.
Analysis
Roger Spottiswoode has taken the story from a novel named the world according to Bob by James Bowen. His way of conceptualizing the movie is cherishing, and the film also received the award for Best Film.
