Plot
The movie revolves around Chip and how he as a meek and timid boyfriend turns into a man who’s the master of his fate. Earlier he used to be a shy, fearful and sewer worker heavily dominated by his sort of popular and fierce girlfriend Liza. The man had no control over the relationship he was into; he just seemed to be just another sparkling toy to his girlfriend Liza’s life that lets him in only when she needs. Liza is a free and wild soul with much character and fury who, despite having a boyfriend, works as a prostitute. Apart from bring miserable and sad in her life she is repeatedly abusive towards her boyfriend in their relationship. Then one fine day their story gets a twist when a golden opportunity knocks on their door. Liza realizes that her landlord and steady client, Ken McKenzie, owns a safe containing $68,000, this brings out the greed in them and hence Chip and Liza decide to steal the money by sneaking into the McKenzie’s' house, armed and masked.
Quickly, things take a wild turn as Liza decides to kill her boss while stealing his money. During their heist, a young woman spots all the chaos and even witnesses Chip with the McKenzie’s body. From this point on the very second plot of the film starts setting up as, the anonymous lady flees. Things start going south as Liza knocks out the girl, who is the sole witness to her crimes and further decides to sell her to her brother who would presumably torture and kill the girl.
Hearing Liza's plan makes Chip realize something and suddenly a switch flips in him and he confesses how disgusted he feels listening to Liza. This causes a fight between the two resulting in Chip knocking out Liza and driving away with the money in a stolen car. He keeps driving away, until he hears some voice from the trunk and remembers his hostage, things happen and the irony is such that ends up being blackmailed by his hostage whose name as he gets to know is Violet. They finally flee with the money together, and as fate would have it, soon enough they get attracted to each other, as they bond over music and jokes in the car
They take a stop at a gas station, where the clerk, Monica, sees Chip pull out a $100 bill from the envelope of the stolen money. This is where the third plot twist starts building up .Monica tries to convince Chip so he would give her more money just for her to keep quiet, but thanks to Violet’s wits they escape that situation. The two spend the night at a nearby hotel, where Violet shares about her personal life with Chip. She explains the abuse she was about to face when he and Liza suddenly showed up out of nowhere. In reality, she was being forced to have sexual relations with McKenzie. This episode creates a much more profound and trustworthy bond between the two.
The morning after, Chip wakes up to find his gun, money, and clothes stolen. Frantic, he is mad at himself for letting his guard down around Violet, who he assumes stole his possessions. However to his horror he discovers her dead body in the bathtub of the room, horrified Chip marks out Liza to be the one to do this, since he thinks she is the one with a murderous intend as well as a motive. Chip finally enquires the receptionist about any shady or anonymous visitations during the previous night and based on the description Chip connects it to the gas station worker, Monica.
Gushed with adrenaline Chip decides to confront Monica but as soon as he gets to her location provided by the receptionist he realizes that all of it was a trap just to lure him in and make him take the charges for all the recent crimes. Monica along with her gang torture and beat him so much that he eventually loses consciousness and the next he wakes he finds Liza by his side with a gun pointed right in his face and Liza's brother (Dwayne) killing almost all of Monica's gang. Now that Liza and Dwayne are in control of the situation, Chip feels helpless and somewhat furious. Liza tells him that all is forgiven, as long as he goes back to exactly how he was, she offers him back into her life but at the cost of his self-respect, to which Chip, refuses. He is now a man of his will who realizes the power he holds, Chip finally takes matters into his own hands by executing Liza, Dwayne and Monica while grieving for Violet, he stages the scene to erase his presence at the house, takes the money, and escapes content with his newly found independence and the money.
Analysis
The screenplay and direction of the movie are pretty interesting; the plot for the same is really tricky and perfectly layered. There seem to be several twists and even more self-realization, the characters especially Chip goes through a complete roller coaster in terms of personal growth and development. He realizes what actual true love means and at the same time learns a bitter lesson on betrayal from his loved ones. All the characters are in constant chaos and are always chasing after something be it money, love or lust.

Verdict
The movie has good comical timing and humor is intact in all scenes. It is a good watch when you wish to watch something hearty but with a lot of subplots.
