Madam “Jayalalithaa,” the Tamilnadu Chief Minister was announced dead on 5th December 2016, due to cardiac arrest at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. She was laid to rest on the very next day at Marina Beach near MGR Tomb. After her death, a lot of confusions arouse and her nephew Deepak Jayakumar and niece “J Deepa” came to the limelight. Deepa started throwing tantrums on “V K Sasikala” and her people for not allowing her to see Jayalalithaa when she was at the hospital. Although Deepa didn’t have a healthy contact with her brother Deepak, both are strong in getting the Poes Garden Veda Nilayam, the residence of Amma Jayalalithaa. A lot of cases had been filed on the high court regarding the death of the Tamilnadu CM and a commission had been set up to review it. Now, the High Court ordered the Income Tax department to file the property details of Madam Jayalalithaa and also the details about her legal heirs. The Court also ordered to check if she had written any will.
