"It was an award function initially where she (Anjana) shook hands on the stage as the program host, later a congratulation tweet from her, Anjana earns respect as a person" recalls Chandran and Anjana in their recent interview. 

The couple further took their relationship as friends, and it grew into love and they were happy about it. Regarding their proposal, Anjana reveals, "Chandran is the first who proposed me!! It is very romantic and touching on my birthday. We had gone to a restaurant with friends, and all of a sudden a band started playing, and Chandran presented me a big bouquet of red roses and knleed down and proposed to marry him!! It was an overwhelming!!" says Anjana.
