Vishal Reddy, the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council, thanked Abirami Ramanathan for discontinuing the online theater booking services, which has been a big threat to the cinema industry. Online ticket booking sites charge extra charges for the tickets, which affects the people entering the cinema halls. Many of us want to book the tickets online, instead of standing in the theater queue. Using this as armor, the online booking sites, which has the tie up with the theaters, charges more for the tickets. Following the complaint, the Film Chamber of Commerce President, Abirami Ramanathan canceled the online booking ticket methods for his theater. Vishal, who come to know about this, thanked the producer cum theater owner for being an exemplar for the theater owners.
