Vishal Donates For Harvard Tamil Seat In America

He is the secretary of the Artistes Association and the producer council head. Vishal has donated amount for the formation of Tamil seat in the Harvard University. In the Harvard University in America, there are seats for ancient languages which amounts to six seats. But, there is no seat for Tamil in the Harvard University. Noted icons in America as Doctor Janakiraman and Sambandham got into efforts to form a seat for Tamil. So as to get permission for the Tamil seat, an Indian currency of Rs 40 crore is needed.

Dr Janaki Raman and Sambandham have donated Rs 6 crores and 70 lakhs for the seat. The rest of the amount is being collected from Tamil people across the globe. As a service gesture, the Tamil Nadu government has donated about 10 crores for the seat. Currently, Vishal, who is the secretary of the Artistes Association and head of the producer council has donated Rs 10 lakhs. When there is requirement of Rs 40 crores, so far an amount of Rs 17 crores has been gathered. I have donated Rs 10 lakhs.
