, the former Indian Cricketer, celebrates his birthday, today. He is a right-handed batsman and an off-spinner. He made his ODI debut in 1999 and his last match came in the year in 2013. His test debut came in the year 2001 with South Africa. Virender Sehwag is the first Indian to slash triple ton in the tests. In his career of 251 ODI matches, the legendary batsman had scored 8273 runs with an average of 35.05 and his top score in ODI is 219. He had also grabbed 96 wickets in the ODI with an average of 40.13. Viru had also grabbed 5 wickets in an innings in a Test Match.
Shewag auctioned his bat for Rs 70, 000 and donated the amount to Tsunami victims in 2004. It was the bat, with which he scored his triple ton. We wish, this wonderful human, a happy birthday! May your dreams come true and keep you happy forever, Sehwag!
