The Income Tax department raided the TN's Health Minister Vijayabhaskar's house and the office on 7th April 2017. Vijayabhaskar said that the IT officials didn’t capture anything from him. But, the IT department said that they had got some documents and money from the raid. An account statement of Vijayabhaskar is released now and it shows that Apollo Doctor Balaji has received Rs. 5 Lakhs from Vijayabhaskar in November 2016, when Madam “ Jayalalithaa Jayalalithaa Jayaram, more popularly known as Pura >> Read More... ” was in the hospital. The details of the expenses are not clearly mentioned in the account statement. It is rumored that the amount was transferred to Dr. Balaji of Apollo Hospitals, who said that he witnessed Madam Jayalalithaa had her thumb impression in the official documents. Nothing is made clear till now.
