Vada Chennai is the upcoming gangster thriller scripted and directed by “Vetrimaaran.” The film has “Dhanush” and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles. “Samuthirakani,” “Ameer,” Daniel Balaji, Daniel Annie Pope, Kishore Jayaram and many others are in the star cast. Santhosh Narayanan composed the tunes. The film has been censored and Dhanush tweeted the censor certificate and the release date of the film. He tweeted, “#Vadachennai comes with its raw, gritty, uncut intensity to the theatres from 17th October, censored ‘A’. #oct17 #anbu.” Besides this film, Dhanush will be next seen in Enai Nokki Paayum Thota with Megha Akash and “M Sasikumar,” directed by Gautham Menon and the film will hit the screens along with “Sarkar” on Diwali. He also has “Maari 2” with Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Tovino Thomas, directed by Balaji Mohan for the release.
