Temporarily titled ‘Dosa King’, the movie will cover the life of P. Rajagopal, the brains behind the iconic Saravana Bhavan chain of restaurants, and his downfall after the murder of his employee Santhakumar. Rajagopal lusted for Santhakumar’s wife Jeevajothi, due to which he decided to get rid of Santhakumar. However, he was ultimately convicted for the crime, and died in misery in 2019.

TJ Gnanavel is only two films old, with his best movie being the controversial, yet impactful social drama ‘Jai Bhim’.
