Suriya Sivakumar, the talented star of Tamilnadu has been busily working in Thaana Serndha Koottam with Keerthy Suresh. The film is directed by Naanum Rowdy Dhaan fame Vignesh Shivan. Suriya committed doing a film with “Muthaiya,” who directed Komban and Kuttipuli. To pair Suriya, the director approached Ritika Singh, the actress, who impressed everyone with her performance in Irudhi Suttru with “R Madhavan.” Ritika was elated to pair Suriya. After the debacle of “Marudhu” with Vishal Reddy and Sri Divya, Suriya quit the film. Suriya’s withdrawal disappointed Ritika. Now, “M Sasikumar” is booked to do the role and Hansika Motwani pairs him. Meanwhile, Ritika is performing in Sivalinga with Raghava Lawrence and Vanagamudi with Vikram Prabhu.
