The film is yet an another delayed project for Simbu as Gautham had a chance to direct Ajith Kumar for Yennai Arindhaal. It is reported that the film is now nearing completion, Confirming the news Gautham Menon opens up on his views on "Achcham Enbathu Madamaiyada" film and Simbu. 

“Yes, we have just ten more days to complete the shoot. This long time is taken for its 'Bilingual' tag as it looks like two separate films. Both the stars Simbu and Naga Chaitanya performed well, and we are planning to release it in January 2016”. 

On a controversial statement about Simbu's delay in coming for the shoot, He clarifies “Things went wrong from what I would like to deliver. I had mentioned about our Mutual Understanding”. 

On a question about Simbu current issues “I want him to make an effort to forget his issues and more on. He is a fine actor, and he should be at the top of the industry, Not in at No 2 or No four spot, I want him to be at the No.1 hero. He is capable for that, but some little issues around him are delaying his success”.
