It is to be noted that there have been a number of positive developments in the Tamil cine field. Vijay and A R Murugadoss have teamed up with each other for the third time. The schedules for the movie are in rapid progress. Due to the protest by producers, the shooting has been stalled. A special permission was obtained for the movie and the movie shooting happened in the Victoria hall. And the movie shooting happened in a lucky place for Vijay which is none other than Sivaji Illam. It is to be noted that scenes for movie Theri directed by Atlee happened in Sivaji Illam. The movie is being made in a grand manner by Sun Pictures.
The music composition for the movie is by A R Rahman.
