One of the critically appreciated films of 2016 written and directed by Vijay Kumar was the gritty Uriyadi aka Vidiyumvarai Vinmeengalavom. The recent announcement that came in a few weeks ago was that Suriya's 2D Entertainment will be producing the part 2 of Uriyadi.
With Govind Vasantha of 96 coming aboard to compose music, the announcement on this project came in on September 20. The latest pleasantly surprising news is that the film's shoot has been completed in one single schedule that lasted for about 30 straight days. Some good speed from the team indeed.
