Ramnath Govind Announced As NDA’s President Candidate!

Ramnath Govind, the Governor of Bihar, has been announced as the Presidential candidate of National Democratic Alliance. Amit Shah, the BJP chief announced the candidate, today after the governing body meeting of their party. It was told that one among Sushma Swaraj, Sumitra Mahajan and Murali Manohar Joshi would be selected as the presidential candidate. But, to the surprise of everyone, Ramnath Govind has been announced as the candidate. The presidential poll will be held on July 17th and the results will be announced on 20th July. The term of President Pranab Mukherjee ends on 25th July. The opposition parties haven’t yet announced their candidate. Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Gopal Krishna Gandhi was their initial choice.
