Nadigaiyar Thilagam Split A Family?

Nadigaiyar Thilagam, the dubbed version of “Mahanti” released last month and had collected Rs. 45+ crores at the box office. This is the first woman-centric film from the south to collect such a whopping amount. The biopic on “Savitri” has Keerthy Suresh as the lead star. Dulquer Salmaan played Gemini Ganesan. The entire cast received appreciation from the critics and the public. Savitri’s daughter Vijaya Chamundeshwari praised Keerthy for her performance. While Gemini Ganesan’s elder daughter Dr. Kamala Selvaraj stated that the film had split the family, as Vijaya Chamundeshwari had maintained silence even after seeing their dad had been portrayed negatively. But Viji stated that her father was not shown as a villain and he had never introduced drinking habits to her mother. Nadigaiyar Thilagam is directed by Nag Ashwin. It is heard that after collecting some important information from Viji, the film had been shot. Viji had laid a condition that her dad should not be shown negatively.
