Priya Bhavani Shankar, who had been a news reader, turned an actress through a TV series. She made her debut as the heroine in Meyaadha Maan with Vaibhav Reddy. She has been working with Udhayanidhi Stalin in a film. Priya has also signed doing a film directed by “Pandiraj.” She plays one of the two heroines in Karthik Sivakumar starrer Kadaikutti Singam, directed by Pandiraj. After this film, she will be seen in a yet to be titled film directed by Nelson Venkatesan, who directed Oru Naal Koothu. In this film, she plays opposite to “S. J. Surya.” SJ Surya has been doing a lot of films and he doesn’t restrict himself in a genre and the roles. Besides playing the hero roles, he had also played character roles and antagonist too. His long-delayed film Nenjam Marappathillai directed by “Selvaraghavan” is expected to hit the screens soon.
