The movie is to be trilingual to be made in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Karthi tweeted regarding the movie in his Twitter Page: The movie Kaatru Veliyidai is definitely a dream venture for me. This is the time for learning. I thank everybody for their wishes. Suriya, who is Karthi’s brother has given the similar opinion in Twitter. Suriya said that the movie is definitely is brother’s dream venture. In 2003, Karthi served as assistant director to Mani Ratnam. Now, he is acting in Mani Ratnam’s movie. I am very much expectant regarding the movie, tweeted Suriya.
