Karunamoorthy has given a detailed press report that how he joined LYCA and what were his limitations with the company. Karunamoorthy stated that when LYCA was new to the film industry, they needed his help to establish them well. LYCA also asked him not to produce movies under Ayngaran International banner and had told him that they will give him a lump sum from the profit, stated Karunamoorthy.

Subaskaran Allirajah had complained that without his knowledge Karunamoorthy had committed to produce “Indian 2” and Vandha Rajavadhan Varuven and created him a huge loss. But Karunamoorthy questioned that if Indian 2 was initiated without Subaskaran’s knowledge, then how could he attend the launch event of Indian 2 on 18th January 2019. Similarly, LYCA had charged Karunamoorthy to bear the loss incurred by Vandha Rajavadhan Varuven and for committing Indian 2, an amount of 13.5 crores. As there was none to support him Karunamoorthy had agreed to pay the amount, but later LYCA had tried to make him scapegoat and that’s when he understood them, stated Karunamoorthy.
