Imaikkaa Nodigal Overtakes Kolamaavu Kokila!

Kolamaavu Kokila, the women-centric movie directed by “Nelson” has lady superstar “Nayanthara” in the lead roles. The film has the supporting cast of Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu, RS Shivaji, Naan Kadavul “Rajendran,” “Saravanan” and Jacqueline Fernandas. The film grossed Rs 10 crore easily at the box office and gave Nayanthara a good name and fame. It was said that this is the first women-centric movie that gained profit quickly. The latest information is that the Nayanthara movie Imaikka Nodigal directed by “R Ajay Gnanamuthu” grossed Rs 12 crore in its opening weekend in Tamilnadu. The movie released a bit late, as it didn't get the Key delivery message, as Qube delayed the lab clearance letter. The film collected an excellent amount and overtook Nayanthara's previous hit Kolamaavu Kokila. The film has “Atharvaa,” Anurag Kashyap and Raashi Khanna in the supporting cast along with Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo role. Imaikkaa Nodigal received appreciation all over the state for the performance of the leads and it is the debut of the Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. It is exciting to hear that Imaikkaa Nodigal had received excellent appreciation from Kerala and it grossed Rs 1. 75 crores in just 3 days and the film was acquired at the cost of Rs 65 lakhs. Nayan proved her worth once again and yet another women-centric movie Kolaiyuthir Kaalam by her is waiting for her fans.
