presented the award to Ilayaraja at the launch of the Nishagandhi annual dance and music festival conducted by the State Tourism Department. The CM spoke at the event that the government is willing to provide five acres of land to the music legend to have a music academy. Ilayaraja felt jubilant on receiving the award. Padma Bhushan Ilayaraja is an expert in composing the varieties of music, from folk to western. During the event, the State Tourism Minister, AP Anil Kumar was also present.
