Guinness World Record At Vels University!

Vels University witnessed a Guinness World Record at its campus. More than 5000 Bharatanatyam dancers participated in the event and it is the great world record made for the first time. The Bharatanatyam dancers performed the classical dance for thirty Thirukkurals. Stupendous performance by the dancers and their uniformity made the viewers raise their brows in surprise. The dance program was held for 26 minutes and it was witnessed by Guinness Books of Records’ adjudicators Mr. Vivek and Mr. Swapnil. Certificates were distributed at the end of the event. Athistabalan of Adavallan Isaiyalayam had made the dance choreography and had coordinated all the dancers well. Mr. VG Santhosaham of VGP Group of Companies was one among the chief guests. Dr. Padma Subramaniam, the legendary Bharatanatyam dancer witnessed the show from the front row. Ishari Ganesh, the Vels University Chancellor, welcomed everyone and thanked them for their support.
