The actor cum director “V Gowthaman” had launched a new political party. He stated that the party name, flag and the principles of the party would be announced on the Pongal Day. Gowthaman had protested against the Jallikattu ban, Sterlite protest and NEET exams and was also sent to prison for a couple of times. He had directed the films, Kanave Kalaiyadhe and “Magizhchi.” Besides this, he had directed a couple of TV soaps, Santhanakadu and Auto Shankar.
