' who has given a number of family entertainment movies was arrested, for smuggling ‘Panchaloha idols’. This came as horrendous news to the Tamil Nadu Film Industry. ‘The Tamil Nadu special squad, for State Idol Wing police team’ arrested him for his illegal act. The idols are 8o crores of worth, which were stolen from three temples. Later during the investigation he confessed that, he smuggled to compensate the loss faced on producing his son’s film. The Tamil Nadu Film Industry has sent a petition to the Police Department, saying he is guiltless and requesting them to find the real transgressor.
