This commercial film has been made with the importance of non-violence and the ideologies of the late former ‘President’ and ‘Scientist Abdul Kalam’. "Keep Dr. Kalam as his role model, an 11 Year old bud will want to bloom as a scientist. Meantime the film portrays a group of youngsters spending their lives with no big ambitions, until they meet this schoolboy", the story line of Kamban Kazhagam reveals Director Ashok. He also added that "I wanted to have Abdul Kalam for a cameo in Kamban Kazhagam, but he was sick at that time and things didn't shape up well. But there is a scene were the little boy interacts with Dr. Kalam through letter and it was my favorite scene personally" he ends.
