“Dhanush,” the actor with the strong cinema background, turned a director through Power Paandi. The film proved his mettle as a director. Now, the actor has been highly expecting the release of his next film, “Velaiilla Pattadhari 2” directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth. The film is bankrolled by Kalaipuli Thanu and Dhanush, jointly. The film releases on 28th July. Meanwhile, the film has made a huge record in the Telugu version. The Telugu version of VIP 2 trailer has got 64 lakh views. It is the first film after “Kabali” to get good reception in Telugu states. The Tamil version of VIP 2 Trailer had been viewed more than 1 crore times. This is the first hit trailer in Dhanush career. Dhanush had wrapped up his Hollywood debut film, The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir.
