After their announcement, a lot of people started donating. Chinmayi Sripaada announced that she would be donating the money which she received for dubbing the film Sailaja Reddy Alludu. Actress “Rohini” has donated Rs 2 lakhs and it is said that “Dhanush” has announced Rs 15 lakhs and the latest information is that Vijay Sethupathi would be donating Rs 25 lakhs. Many celebrities are supplying essential commodities to Kerala instead of money.
