Satyabrata Sahoo had opened about the details of the postal votes. 3,27,903 votes are registered as the postal votes under Form 12. These postal votes are only for the government staffs. Both the government and the non-government staffs are provided with the Election Duty Certificate (EDC). So far, 2,38,051 had been given the EDC. Till yesterday, 47,610 postal votes are registered.
Police department’s postal vote forms are 24,971. So far, 17,822 forms had been received. DO/RO had got 16,660 forms, so far and the pending forms are 7,129. Eligible EDC – 10657. Received forms from the EDC - 7,686. So far, the Flying Squad had seized Rs 49.03 crores and the IT department grabbed Rs 36.79 crores. Of the total amount Rs 113 crores seized, Rs 52 crores had been returned.
