Karthi is one among the noted actors in the Tamil cine field. He happens to be the treasurer of the artists association. The celebrities cricket is to be held this January. The General Body Meeting of the South Indian Artists Association was held in Chennai yesterday. The head Nasar, General Secretary Vishal, treasurer Karthi and other noted icons participated in the meeting. In the meeting, homage was paid to late actors. The life time achievement award was given to Kanchana and Sheela. Following that, in a development, Karthi made an address.
He said that the celebrities cricket will be held this January. We have got the consent from Kamal and Rajini. The medical insurance for the members is being discussed. It has not been possible to implement medical insurance for the members above 60 years of age. Since there is the GST tax, the expenditure for raising the building for artists association has grown to huge proportions. Last year, in a development, the celebrities cricket was held. It is to be noted that lead actors as Surya and Karthi participated in the occasion.
