Last week, the Income Tax raid was held in the houses and the offices of Minister Vijayabhaskar, “R. Sarathkumar” and Geetha Lakshmi. Vijayabhaskar's relatives were also inquired in this regard. Geetha Lakshmi is the Vice Chancellor of Dr. MGR University. She has been summoned to appear before the Income Tax officers. Sarathkumar and Vijayabhaskar respected the orders by the IT department and appeared before the IT officers and the inquiry has been going on. Geetha Lakshmi didn’t appear before the IT officials instead appealed to the Madras High Court to cancel the order sent by the IT department to appear in person.
The big crater that formed near the Gemini Flyover in Chennai has been repaired and the road is ready now. Earlier this morning, only light vehicles were allowed. Now all the vehicles are allowed in the path. It is really an outstanding effort by the Chennai Corporation.
