Balram Naidu Makes A Comeback In Kamal Haasan’s Next

Kamal Haasan is all set to revive the character of Balram Naidu in his upcoming film. For the first time ever, his family will be introduced to his audience. In 2008, Kamal portrayed the character of Balram Naidu in the Tamil film Dasavantharam. It is a comedy with an ounce of action in it. The shooting for this bilingual film will commence from the mid of May. Kamal will be seen sharing the screen with his daughter Shruti Haasan. As Kamal’s wife, Ramya Krishnan will play the lead role. Shruti will essay the role of their daughter. Saurabh Shukla is also a part of the cast. The film will be shot in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. Telugu comedian Brahmanandam will be Kamal’s side kick, as Appa Rao. It was late choreographer Raghuram who played the character of Appa Rao in Dasavantharam. Raaj Kamal International is said to be producing the film. The title for the Tamil version will be unveiled officially on Friday by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. He has been chosen to compose the music for this untitled film.
