Haiku, which also stars Suriya, is also the actor’s production venture. The term Haiku is not a Tamil word and so it didn’t get them the tax exemption given by the Tamil Nadu Government for Films. After this news, Pandiraj turned to his Twitter page and announced, "#Haiku update :#Haiku name gonna change coz of tax free reasons.I'l cum soon with new Title. Audio launch nearing u at d earliest." The director even asked the fans to suggest a title for the film.
