' was offered to do the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit, Drishyam, but he rejected it because he got worried that two certain scenes in the film will not go well with the audience. As per the source,

, the director of Drishyam, agreed with him. Sources also said, the superstar liked the story when he heard about it but got some issues with two scenes and Jeethu felt that Rajini’s presence can add a different dimension to the Drishyam remake.
The source also added that the first scene will show the lead being beaten up brutally by the police while the second scene is the highlight scene. Rajini is unsure if the fans will agree seeing him being beaten up. The director also feels the same when they talked about it.
Apparently, Jeethu and Rajini will meet again with a revised script. But eventually, the remake was made with
