Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, stepped down as the Party chief, contested in Amethi and Wayanad in the Lok Sabha election and got an MP seat from Wayanad. People of Wayanad in Kerala had been suffering a lot due to the torrential rain and floods. So, the Wayanad MP has been getting ready to meet his constituency people tomorrow.
Earlier yesterday, Rahul Gandhi called
Narendra Modi over the phone and sought help for Wayanad. Nearly 28 people had lost their lives due to the heavy rains. 19 trains had been canceled. Rahul Gandhi stated that he would be there in Kerala for two days and try to help the people, as much as he could. Rahul also stated that he had already directed the congresspeople in Kerala, to look after the needs of the people in the affected areas.
