Recently, they wrapped up the shooting of “Oppam.” After “Kilukkam,” “Mithunam” and “Chitram,” they shot their film in Ooty. When asked about their shooting in Ooty, Priyadarshan states, "Mohanlal took me to School Manth, the place where we shot the first scene in Ooty. 'Pon Veene' song from Thalavattam was shot there, before 30 years. We set the frame in the same location using the same lens which we used to film that song.
