Lokah Set To Be The Highest Grossing Malayalam Movie Of All Time?

Lokah is all set to rewrite the records this year.

According to the recent reports, Lokah has surpassed movies like 2018, The Goat Life, Aavesham in terms  of being one of the highest grossing Malayalam films of all time. If everything goes well, the superhero drama will soon overtake Thudarum to become the third highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time.

Since there is no major opponent until the release of Kantara, Lokah : Chapter 1 – Chandra can also achieve the impossible. The movie stands at a worldwide total of 225 crores, and continues to collect a decent amount of at least 4 to 5 crores on an average per day.

If the movie continues to collect at this rate, it might do what even Mohanlal couldn’t with L2 : Empuraan : become the first Malayalam movie in the history to collect 300 crores worldwide. The domestic collections of the film have already breached the 110 crore mark in terms of net domestic collections.

Lokah : Chapter 1 – Chandra is backed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films. The film stars Naslen K Gafoor and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Mammootty in cameo roles.
