They both are friends right from their first movie together. “Jayasurya” received the National Award in the special mention category for his performance in ‘Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam” and “Lukka Chuppi.” He says that the first one to congratulate him was Kunchacko Boban. When the National Award was announced, they both were in the shooting of School Bus. Chackochan and Rosshan put a garland for Jayasurya before others come to know about the award. In Rosshan’s School Bus, Kunchacko plays a police and Jayasurya plays a parent. In Shah Jahanum Pareekuttyum, Jayasurya plays a local goon and Kunchacko appear as a businessman.
