The role James was not exclusively designed for Prithviraj.
But, after considering several actors, Sujith came to a conclusion that the role is a tailor-made one for Prithvi. He narrated the story to Prithviraj for the first time.
As the hero has to portray the young look and the middle-age look, Sujith thought Prithvi could do it with perfection.
After testing out various getups, the young age getup was finalized.
Costume designer Arun and Sreejith, the makeup artist helped the director to finalize the final look of Prithvi.
