With Peruchazhi, he brought in a new format to Malayalam cinema. His latest film with Arjun is an investigative thriller. Arun shares about his film with a Malayalam daily. "The film is a Tamil-Kannada bilingual, but actually it suits the Malayalam audience as well because Malayalis like investigative movies. I'm a huge fan of films like CBI Diary Kurippu and it is a film with a similar theme in a new format,” says Arun. “The original plan was to make it only in Tamil, but Arjun, is quite popular in Kannada too so we decided to make it in Kannada as well. It was shot simultaneously in Bengaluru and Chennai and post production work is progressing,” added Arun. Speaking about Peruchazhi, he said that his idea was to make the film in Tamil as he scripted with Tamilnadu Politics in mind.
