The success of “ARM” was much needed for Tovino Thomas, whose last movie ‘Nadikar’ was a major commercial failure. Made on a budget of 40 crores, the film was released around the elections, on 3rd May 2024. It only earned 5.36 crores in total.
However, this was the only commercial failure for Tovino Thomas, since he had begun the year on an impressive note with ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’, which released in early February 2024. Made on a budget of 8 crores, the movie went to earn an impressive total of 40 crores, and was one of the most successful films in Malayalam before the likes of ‘Bramayugam’, ‘Premalu’, and ‘Manjummel Boys’ officially took over.
