Anoop Joins Vidya Balan In Aami!

Vidya Balan has been booked doing the lead role in the biopic on the popular writer, Kamala Surayya directed by “Kamal.” The film is recently titled as “Aami,” which is Kamala’s nickname. The film has Murali Gopy as Vidya’s pair and Prithviraj Sukumaran as a fictional character created by Kamala Surayya. The latest to join the team is Anoop Menon. Anoop has been enjoying his holiday in China with his wife. After he returns from the trip, the character of Anoop will be finalized. However, when the actor was contacted to convey the role provided for him, he was extremely happy to share the screen space with Vidya Balan and work under the direction of Kamal. When asked about his participation in Aami to Anoop, he said that he got a call from director Kamal, when he was in China. “I have always wanted to work with him. He's someone who gives me constant feedback on my movies. I have been a huge fan of Kamala Das and her works as well. So, I am honored that Kamal sir would call me for such a role in this big project," says Anoop Menon. But, he didn’t reveal about his character.
