Vidya Has No Regrets About Rejecting Aami!

“Aami” is the biopic of Kamala Surayya. Vidya Balan, the multi-talented actress, had been committed doing the titular role. When the film was about to start, Vidya turned down the film. When asked about it, Vidya said that she wished a lot to do the role. But, when the director completed the script, it was not compelling as he narrated. So, Vidya turned down the film. Vidya has no regrets about rejecting Aami. She says that she still loves to do Malayalam films with good scripts. Vidya openly stated that she loves to do a film with “Mohanlal.” After a long search director “Kamal” decided to cast Manju Warrier in the lead role. Manju, the versatile star has immediately agreed to do the film. Hope, the film would mark yet another milestone in her. Recently, Manju joined Mohanlal’s “Villain.” The shooting has started and Manju is working with a lot of interest, as she has once again joined her favorite star.
