" died on 2009. He ruled the Kannada cinema industry for nearly 4 decades. The Karnataka Government had allotted 10 acres of land to build a cinema studio in 1965. Abhiman studio was built in that place now. Out of the 10 acres, 2 acres are allotted to build a memorial for Dr. Vishnuvardhan. Now, the problem comes in the form of late actor Balakrishna’s sons, Ganesh and Srinivas. They both claimed that the 10 acres of land are theirs, and the government has no rights to share it to build a memorial for Vishnuvardhan. They did not stop here; they filed a petition in the court and got a stay order to build the memorial.
